Indie Collaborative gets front page feature in The Huffington Post
The brain child of Eileen Bluestone Sherman and Grant Maloy Smith, the INDIE COLLABORATIVE serves over 2000 Independent artists in the music world, and membership grows daily. Its sole purpose is to facilitate and encourage new, unique, and outstanding collaborations among professional musical artists worldwide. Membership includes hundreds of award winning artists, including many Grammy and Emmy Award Winners.

FEBRUARY 9 and 10
Prior to the big Grammy Weekend, Indie Collaborative Members from around the world meet at Kulak's Woodshed in North Hollywood, California. Performances streamed live "worldwide" both evenings. Award winning vocalist and international cabaret performer Natalie Jean, accompanied by award winning pianist Connor Chee presented "A Child's Dream" from the Bluestone Sisters' BROADWAY SINGS THE ODD POTATO.
MARCH 21: Debut IPOD Interview Series on ACROSS THE POND
UK Radio host, Les Young along with California host Bobby Joe Holman, will feature award winning Indie Collaborative members in bi-monthly interviews throughout the year. Opening Interview highlighted co-founders Eileen Bluestone Sherman and Grant Maloy Smith.

AUGUST 28: Inaugural Indie Collaborative Conference
Indie Collaborative Members network and perform at The Bitter End in New York City. Daylong event includes professional music workshop presented by executives from CDBaby. Evening performances include a new jazz interpretation of The Bluestone Sisters', "A Husband Is", performed by award winners Ron Aprea and Angela DeNiro.
June 2017
The Indie Collaborative initiates a weekly partnership with radio host Daniela Celella of Radio Zenith Messina. Each Thursday afternoon, (between 12 Noon and 2p.m. EST), Daniela interviews two Indie Collaborative members, highlighting their music and the mission of the Indie Collaborative on her live radio broadcast, popular with listeners in New York and Italy.

THE BITTER END Monday, August 26. The Indie Collaborative (hosted by Grant Smith and Eileen Sherman) returns to the Legendary Bitter End. Award winning artists from multiple genres offer up a summer evening of music, including a 35th birthday salute to the Bluestone Sister’s children’s classic, THE ODD POTATO, presented by I.C artists, Sonya Hensley, Mia Moravis, Alex Otey, and Syreeta Thompson.
